What Does It Feel Like Having Silicon Implanted Into Your Chin?

I have received many emails asking what it feels like to have a chin implant placed inside your face. This is a very good question, and a question I wondered about myself before having surgery.
I must admit, this is something I am really having troubles articulating, as physical sensations are sometimes hard to describe. To be perfectly honest, at Day 9 post op, when I am completely still, with a relaxed face, I do not feel anything. It just feels like my normal chin prior to surgery. If I am to manipulate my chin muscles by altering my smile, I can feel a slight tightness. I would not describe it as pain. Once in a while I get a feeling on the left side of my chin implant which feels exactly like a pimple. I keep thinking I must have a pimple coming up on the left side, but it never seems to appear. I guess this is just a part of the bizarre healing process which is most definitely different to each individual. I Hope this helps answer the question. When I am a few months post up, I will come back to this question. Hopefully the silicon chin implant will feel like a normal and unnoticeable part of my body.
